Story Behind The Song By Ed Osborne

Dog’s Eye View is the brainstorm of Peter Stuart, a guitarist and vocalist, who spent his early days on the acoustic club circuit.

Touring with Counting Crows in 1994 as a backup singer, Peter graduated to opening act for Tori Amos and Cracker, and promoted his own career by selling a self recorded tape at the shows.

Peter next assembled a band and recorded the songs which showed up on his first major label release, Happy Nowhere. Happy Nowhere ultimately topped Billboard magazine’s Heatseekers chart, which tracks the hottest albums by new artists.

Everything Falls Apart, a joyful slice of alternative pop, graced the radio airwaves throughout the late spring and early summer of 1996.
